Following a successful launch and high interest in the Local Food Fund program, the program is under review to ensure that it continues to provide effective support for the agri-food sector.
Following the close of Intake 5 on June 30, the Local Food Fund program will be temporarily paused, as there is a review of its design, in consultation with stakeholders. The review will provide an opportunity to explore the best way to move forward with the fund, achieve its objectives, and its alignment with other ministry funding programs and objectives.
As of July 1, 2014, no new applications will be accepted until the program renews its operations.
Applications from Intake 5 will be reviewed under the parameters of the current program.
